Career
An entrepreneur at heart, Nicola is quick to grasp the sometimes complex issues facing his business clients, both in a transactional and litigation context. A very versatile lawyer, Nicola is equally adept at making representations before the courts and undertaking tough negotiations in commercial transactions, in both English and French.
Nicola practiced with a large law firm for several years before moving on to a boutique litigation firm. This path allowed him to develop a hybrid practice focused on civil and commercial litigation, with a strong expertise in construction law and commercial contract negotiations.
Nicola holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a Juris Doctor degree from Queens University. His academic career has been marked by the Laddie Millen Award for academic excellence while at McGill University, as well as the Agnes Lefas Scholarship from Queens University. He obtained his law degree from the University of Sherbrooke.
