Andréa Laframboise
A competitive athlete, Andréa is a fighter and a winner. Her quest for excellence is reflected in her rigorous work and great determination.
Career
Andréa’s practice is mainly focused on civil and commercial litigation, and civil liability. She has pleaded on several occasions before the Quebec Court of Appeal, the Quebec Superior Court and its Commercial Division, the Tax Court of Canada, the Court of Quebec, the Administrative tribunal of Quebec and many others.
Her solid academic background and experience have allowed her to develop an expertise in tax matters, which makes Andréa a key ally in identifying and understanding a wide range of issues facing her clients, both in civil and commercial matters.
With a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Sherbrooke, Andréa has demonstrated throughout her studies a great intellectual curiosity that led her to represent her university at the prestigious Basile-Mignault moot court competition. Her sense of discipline and her great rigour allowed her to finish third in Canada in this renowned civil law competition.
Andréa wrote her master’s thesis under the supervision of Luc Godbout, tax specialist, Director of the Department of Taxation and researcher at the Chair in Taxation and Public Finance of the Université de Sherbrooke.
