Contaminated Land: Ministry of the Environment Updates Intervention Guide

The Ministry of the Environment publishes an update of the Intervention Guide on soil protection and remediation of contaminated land

On March 14, 2019, the Ministry of the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change (“MELCC”) published an update of the Intervention Guide on Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Remediation Intervention “).

It should be noted that the first version of the Intervention Guide was published in July 2016. This guide, developed by the MELCC, gathers information on the legal and regulatory framework for contaminated land in Quebec and specifies the relevant guidelines in this area. This application tool presents the technical aspects of the Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Rehabilitation Policy – 2017-202 Action Plan11.
