Samuel Rousseau-Mascolo
Samuel specializes in environmental and energy law, as well as civil, commercial, and administrative litigation. He represents Sodavex clients in legal proceedings and offers comprehensive, tailored solutions and advice to address their specific needs.
Career
Samuel holds a Master’s degree in International Law and International Politics (graduating with Distinction, Faculty Honors) and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Sherbrooke. His academic background allowed him to gain experience in environmental protection, climate change, and renewable energy, particularly through his work with a specialized agency of the United Nations. He contributed to climate negotiations related to the implementation of the Paris Agreement during COP28 and COP29.
Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2020, Samuel has also represented a diverse range of clients before the courts of Quebec, offering meticulous follow-up and strategic counsel to safeguard the interests of Sodavex’s clients.
In addition, Samuel participated in the Charles Rousseau International Public Law Moot Court Competition at the University of Angers in France in 2018 and was actively involved in the Avocats Sans Frontières and Droit Vert l’Avenir (Environmental Law) committees at the University of Sherbrooke’s Faculty of Law.
